Animals are such
agreeable friends -
they ask no
questions, they
pass no criticisms.
- George Eliot
Welcome to:
We all need friends in life. To
see us through the good times
and the bad...someone to love
us unconditionally for who we
are, and someone we can love
unconditionally in return...

So what happens when that
someone, your friend, becomes
seriously ill? What would you do
if  the doctors gave you little to
no hope? Would you give up on
a friend?
We didn't think so, and
neither did we...
"Moki's Friends," was created to
combat the fallacy, that if you
can't afford medical care for your
loved one, A.K.A. pet, you
shouldn't have one.

This all to common fallacy, has
lead to the death of many sick
and disabled pets in the U.S.

Those guilty of committing this
fallacy often fail to realize that if
shelters, rescue groups, and
individuals took in only the
animals who's medical bills
they could afford, cats, kittens
and animals everywhere like
Moki, would never be given a
chance at life.

Become a friend of Moki and
help fight this fatal fallacy. Read
Moki's story, watch his videos,
and visit our other "Cats In
Need," section. Learn how to
properly move an injured
animal, or how to physically
examine your pet. Prepare
yourself for an emergency with
information found in our  "Feline
Health," section.
